Lessons are paid by bank transfer at least 4 days before the lesson. Block bookings are 10 hours, paid in full in advance. Cancellations need at least 48 hours’ notice, or the lesson is charged in full.

KGS Driving School is an independent, automatic-only driving school based in Plumstead, run by instructor Satnam Singh Cheema. You learn with the same person every lesson: no handovers, no starting over.
Satnam is known for a calm, patient and helpful approach. He adapts each lesson to the way you learn and builds a plan around your needs, whether you’re a complete beginner, a nervous driver or returning after a break.
He is fully DBS checked and teaches all ages from 17. His goal is simple: help you pass your test and gain the confidence and independence that comes with being on the road.

Do you teach in a manual car?
No. KGS Driving School teaches in an automatic car only, which means no clutch and no gears to worry about, so you can focus on the road.
How much do lessons cost?
Weekday lessons (9am–5pm) are £38 per hour. Lessons after 5pm and at weekends are £40 per hour.
How long is each lesson?
Every lesson is a minimum of 2 hours. That gives you enough time to warm up, learn something new and practise it properly.
Can I save with a block booking?
Yes. A 10-hour block costs £365 on weekdays or £385 after 5pm and at weekends, saving you £15. Blocks are paid in full in advance.
How do I pay?
All lessons are paid by bank transfer at least 4 days before the lesson.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations need at least 48 hours’ notice. Later cancellations are charged in full for the booked time.
Who do you teach?
All ages from 17 upwards, including complete beginners, nervous drivers and people returning to driving. Satnam is fully DBS checked.
